Dog owners are being asked to spare around 15 minutes to answer questions about how their dog copes in a range of situations.

Researchers in the School of Life Sciences are carrying out a new study profiling how dogs respond in a range of day-to-day situations they may encounter, with a view to developing a questionnaire that could ultimately be useful in the diagnosis of certain behaviour problems, as well as assessing certain interventions to help dogs with such problems.

The researchers have developed an online questionnaire for dog owners to complete. All responses will be anonymised unless respondents choose to take part in a follow-up study.
